Obituary of Otto Siegwarth

Obituary: Otto Siegwarth admin Siegwarth, Otto A., 81, of Somers, NY, died on January 8, 2018. Otto was born in Sulzburg, Germany on February 28, 1936. He immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 23 and worked as a tool & die maker and engineer. A Somers resident and St. Joseph’s parishioner for 39 years, he loved gardening, hiking, cross-country skiing, and singing. Otto is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ingrid (Bartels) Siegwarth; his three children, Christine Siegwarth Meyer of Armonk, NY, Kirk Otto Siegwarth of Ellicott City, MD, and Clark Otto Siegwarth of Roswell, GA; and seven beloved grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Katie, Andrew, Erik, Jordan and Erin. Otto was predeceased by his daughter, Birgit, his brothers, Dieter Siegwarth and Horst Siegwarth, and his sister, Helga (Siegwarth) Lissak. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 12th at 11:30 am at St. Joseph’s RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY 10589.
