Guy hired me in 1983 at Loral and I don't think I could have worked for a more sincere man or human being. He was always honest in a tough environment and had everyone's best interests in mind for the 12 year I was with him. I'm lucky to have known him and I send my sincere prayers and condolences to the family. He was a special man...

Dear DeMelis family, Your husband and father "Big Guy"was a big part of my life spending countless hours in a leaky aluminum boat watching Big Guy and my father catching fish after fish (i believe that both of them where raised by fish at some point in their lives) and the hunting trips to Maine , the deer drives , hours of time spent on frozen lakes, the family get togethers, and one trip coming home from a week of hunting in the "Forks" of Maine listening to a cassette tape of Kenny Rodgers in his Jeep on a seven hour loop that "When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when i'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things and then I don"t feel so bad" He will be greatly missed With all our love, Peter, MImi , Mark, and Kyle

Our sincerest condolences to Joan and family. As friends and neighbors for many years to Joan, Guy and children, we will always treasure the memories we made. He will be greatly missed by his fishing and hunting friend , but the good times will never be forgotten. With much affection, here's a final toast to you Guy. Rest in peace. Hedda and Pete.
