Your father was a good friend and part of the dining group of our Dad, Bob McDonald at RC. We met him on several occasions at mass at St Elizabeth Seton or Shabbat at RC. He always had a ready smile and a twinkle in his eyes. My Dad treasured his company and loved talking about their families and shared faith. Dad also loved hearing stories of Al’s amazing career in computers. Sending prayers for you all in the loss of your dear father.

To the family of Al and Joan, I send my warm and heartfelt condolences. Your parents were truly wonderful neighbors and friends in the Lake MacGregor community. Your Mom was a generous and kind friend especially when my own Mom was dying. I love reading that your Dad was an enthusiastic fisherman as there isn’t an August that I don’t remember him fondly because I do love bluefish and he kept us with a plentiful supply over many years. To Kathy and family, Al was a really all-around great guy. He was generous and kind to everyone. I really enjoyed spending time with him at Bible study and I’ll never forget when he told me IBM really means I’ve been moved.! Now he’s been moved up to heaven. We will all miss him Love Carl and Pat.
