We are so very sad to hear of Dave's passing. He was the kindest, most patient, unselfish, hard working guy in the world. We are both better people for knowing him. Our sympathies to the entire Dobson family.
In everything he did, Pops was driven by the desire to help others. His fierce opposition to injustice never wavered with age. I am immensely grateful to have grown up with such a model for down-to-earth humanism.
I will miss him more than I can say, but I am comforted by the fact that the impact of his actions, and his love for family and strangers alike, will be felt through time.

He not only helped the people in front of him but the people beside him. I was on a trip with him to he l p people in TX but what I learned from his leadership and how it changed me . He not only helped people but taught his helpers the true meaning of Gods love.
Papa Dave was truly a faithful and beloved friend to communities around the world, especially in Haiti where he traveled so many times with The Fuller Center for Housing. The result was a real, noticeable impact on people's lives there that will last for many more years and even generations to come.
