I would like extend my heartfelt sadness for the loss of Richard. I will honor him as he passes the threshold to new life by lovingly holding memories of him and the feelings that accompany them ever present in my thoughts. I trust this will give strength to his new wings.
My memories are few but the ones I will hold closest to my heart are his calmness and his willingness to offer a warm smile and handshake. I am also thankful for his service to our country I salute you.
