I was shocked as everyone else seems to be here of Dr passing. I called up a few days ago to make my appointment for my CDL license renewal and some woman answer the phone and I said what doctor is this and she said it was somebody else and I said where is Dr nicora and she said he passed away. I said I am so sorry for his family loss. He was a great guy always cracking jokes making me laugh and easy-going Dr so many wonderful things about him. I wish his family to have healing and I sent all my prayers to them
We are devastated to just learn of Dr. Nicora’s passing. He was so kind to my husband, whose pain was so debilitating. We were so grateful to finally find a doctor who understood and helped him! Our hearts go out to you all.

I am so very shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Nicora's passing. He cared for my mom and dad as they aged and was quite frankly a wonderful support for me since I was their main caretaker. What a loss... RIP dear Dr. Nicora
I was truly shocked and saddened when I heard the news of Dr. Nicora’s passing. He was such a kind man and truly cared about his patients. I will never forget his kindness and his smiles towards me when he walked through the doors of Salem Hills where we both worked (I still work there). He will be truly missed.
I’m So sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Nicora. He was a huge part of my sobriety and helped me get better. He cared about his patients and was very understanding with me. I just learned of the passing of Dr. Nicora and very sadend by the news. He was my physician for many years and was always so kind, informative and real. A check up with Dr. Nicora was always relaxed and informative. He was a very kind man and I always felt he got what I was saying and offered good advice. He was someone I could have been friends with in different circumstances. My condolences to his wife, daughters and sister. May he rest in peace.
Dr. Nicora was my doctor for many years. He was a really beautiful person, dedicated to his family, his patients and to his community. I considered him to be an excellent physician with unique great clinical skills and a great sense of humor. What a terrific guy... he will be so missed by so many I am sure. Dr Nicora was a good humored man. He managed to take away any of the white coat syndrome angst many people feel when at a doctors office. He once jokingly asked me during a physical if I was on steroids, I definitely wasn't, but it was a nice confidence boost. Will be missed. Condolences to the family. A true loss for Somers.
Dr Nicora was not only my family doctor but family to the dolce family. He was the best doctor friend to us. I lost my wife 57 in April he was there to talk to My wife Cathy adored him he was always there when we needed him for us or kids. A heart of gold I’ve lost to important people in my life this year it’s hard to deal with. My prayers go out to his family I know first hand what there going threw. God will take care of our loved ones there looking down at us. We will be together again but this time for ever. Bless his wife and family I will miss him so much

Chris attended our Qigong group for several years after we met. He had became my physician on recommendation of my acupuncturist, Michelle Davidson. Chris and I became close friends for the last several years, he eagerly absorbing the tenets of a mature physical and spiritual Qigong practice. We would also go out for breakfast one a month and we had a chance to let help and hear each-other on a deep level. I am including a picture here of Chris art one of our Zoom RecoveringTheWay Qigong sessions, waving to the other participants on screen with his signature broad smile. Chris's practice helped me to further merge the world of science and art, rationality and intuition, physiology and feelings. I will miss him forever however have a full feeling in my heart soul and body of gratitude for being allowed to know him.
Dr Nicora, "Doc", was not only my physician, he became my friend. I would be able to talk to him about anything and he would always listen and have so much patience and compassion. I will miss his humor and his wit. I pray his family finds peace. He was one of the best men I know.
Dr. Nicora was our family physician, treating both of us for the past few years. He was not only our physician but we regarded him as a friend. We were all around the same age so we would joke about aging, retirement etc. He was so caring…he concerned himself with both our physical and mental well being. We could talk to him about anything. We are truly shocked by this news having just seen him in recent months. Our sincere condolences to his family and staff. We went away for a few days but are cutting it short to pay our respects. Chris was my friend and my doctor. We practiced near one another for over twenty years. Our relationship was based on mutual trust, humor and a love for the practice of medicine. Countless lives were improved by the compassionate expert care that he provided. We all suffer from the loss of this very good man. My prayers now are for his wife and children.

We are so saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. He has been our family doctor for 15 years. Our condolences and prayers go out to his wife and daughters, who he was extremely proud of, and to all his family. This is a huge loss and he will be missed.
