Your parents delighted in being present for Arianna and Max's birthday celebrations at your home, fully engaged in the parties, warm and happy to be there, and that is how I remember your mother -and them both. They are good memories. Love to you, Floyd, the kids and all your extended family.

Rita was an inspiration. She would often talk about her fulfilling work as the Executive Assistant to the Dean at Kingsborough Community College. As long as I’ve known Michele and Floyd, Rita was often around for visits. I always enjoyed her spunk and great advice. I only regret that Rita never taught me Mahjong!! I know she was a champ in Mahjong and in life! I will miss you, Rita.

My heartfelt condolences to my beloved friends Floyd, Michele, Allison, Arianna and Max, on Rita’s passing. I am blessed to have known Rita for nearly fifty years. She has always been remarkably warm and kind toward Michele’s friends, myself included. I always have been amazed by and grateful for Rita’s enormous capacity for listening to others, as if everything someone said was of true significance. In this regard, I realized at a very early point that Rita genuinely loved people and spending time with others. The legacy she leaves for her family and friends is truly life-changing, life-enriching, and it will continue to be so. With love, always, Rita.

Rita loved and was loved by all who were lucky enough to a part of her life. She and Freddie welcomed all of their children’s friends into their Brooklyn home where there were show tunes, love and laughter. She will be missed terribly but her life was a blessing to us all and that is what we shall remember. Love, Stacey, Barry, Lara, Josh, Ryan, Kelin and Avery.
