Obituary of Lois Kay Anderson

    Lois Kay Anderson 75 of Pound Ridge, NY died peacefully on Tuesday April 8th 2025 at home with her family by her side.  Lois was born January 9, 1950 at Wilkes-Barre General,  Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Charles Louie Boice, Sr. & Annette (Layaou) Boice of Tunkhannock, PA. She is oldest of 7 children.

 She married David Anderson on April 29, 1967.  Lois & David moved to Pound Ridge, NY in 1971 and made a beautiful life for themselves. Lois had a very successful house cleaning business. She worked for some wonderful people over the years and had clients for 40 years. Lois worked up until she got sick. Lois and David had to two beautiful children; Vickey (Elmir) Pasalic of South Salem, NY and David (Cristina) Anderson of Tunkhannock, PA.  She was a devoted grandmother to 4 beautiful grandchildren; Elmir Jr. (Keegan) Pasalic of Ballston Spa, NY, John (Farrah) Pasalic of Pound Ridge, NY, Liam Anderson and Katie Anderson of Tunkhannock, PA plus 4 beautiful great granddaughters Raelyn, Ella, Quinn and coming July 2025 Harper.

 Lois loved life. She was funny, had a big heart and would do anything for anybody. She was a hardworking woman who was full of life.  Lois always took good care of herself and was always dressed to the fullest. With her husband of 57 years they were always together and did everything together. The love they had between the two of them was beautiful. David was her knight in shining armor.  She loved her siblings and was very close to each and everyone of them. She has several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in her death with her late sister Mary Jo Hollister. We are going to plan a celebration of Lois’s life in the near future.
