Obituary of Meredith H. Clark
Meredith H. Clark, 85, formerly of Waccabuc, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11th, 2025 after a long illness. Meredith was born on May 21, 1939 in Queens, NY to the late Walter and Bernice Hoffman before the family moved to Westchester. She was a resident of Waccabuc for more that 50 years.
Meredith was a graduate of Roosevelt HS in Yonkers, the University of Buffalo and then receiving a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University. She was an Occupational Therapist, finishing her career working in the Yonkers Public Schools from which she retired in 2013.
Meredith was a lifelong equestrian and passionate member of LHA, the Lewisboro Horsemen’s Association. She was also a volunteer for a number of charitable organizations that included 13 Hands horse rescue, Part of the Solution (POTS) and A-Home. She also had a love of culture including travel, books and Broadway theater.
Meredith was the beloved wife of Gerald “Bud” Clark and is survived by her daughter, Jennifer B. Clark, son-in-law, Richard H. Donohoe, a niece, nephew and several cousins.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30th at 1pm at the South Salem Cemetery in South Salem, NY. A lunch gathering will follow the service.
