Obituary of Paul I. Dubiny
Paul I. Dubiny, age 91, of Lewisboro, NY died on April 22, 2025 at White Plains Hospital.
Paul was born July 5, 1933 in Yonkers, NY the son of Ernest and Emilia (Bobak) Dubiny.
He was a graduate of School #7, Longfellow JR High School and Commerce HS in Yonkers. He attended NYU majoring in marketing. Paul enlisted in the US Air Force and served 5 years as an Airborne Radio Operator throughout Europe. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Non-Commissioned Officer in 1958.
He was employed by Western Electric, ATT, Alcatel-Lucent for 26 years as a technical engineer, retiring in 1988.
Paul was a parishioner of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Yonkers since birth and became assistant organist. Paul was an avid golfer and bowler and an exempt member of Protection Engine Volunteer Fire Co. of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. A Member of the American Legion Robert Moses Post # 136, Mt. Kisco, NY. A former honorary member of Ridgefield, CT Kiwanis.
Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Jane(Cardozo) Dubiny in 2021, his twin brother, John, his brother, Julius and his sister, Mildred Ide. He is survived his by his niece Paula Ide of CA and nephew-in-law Jim Maciel of Yonkers. He is also survived by other in-law nieces and nephews of the Losapio family.
Family and friends may visit at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 9:30am to 11:30am. The funeral service will follow at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 56-60 Mulberry Street, Yonkers, NY on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 1:00pm. Interment will be private
