Nancy and Ron treated me as one of their own for many years of my childhood, Nancy most of all, herding us kids like cats (occasionally feral). Nancy was an integral part of our Lake Helena, Park Lane & Dunhill Drive community. She just was - that way, and all the lives she touched were better for it. I was so sad speaking to Shane and hearing of her passing, and I know for so many, including myself, Nancy will be greatly missed yet fondly remembered. What I remember best of all was her great sense of humor, especially when dealing with us kids. She was always whip quick with a comeback, then a knowing glance and smile always followed by an easy, lovely laugh. I am grateful to have had her touch my life.

The 452d Air Mobility Wing Legal Office has made a donation to the "Nanny" Scholarship in memory of the mother of our Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, Major Gugliucciello. Bevin is an invaluable member of the 452d AMW family, and through the stories she shares, we know her mother was a woman of incredible kindness. To the whole “Guggi” family I send my light, love and share the laughter Nance and have shared in the past. Nancy and I have been friends since 1971! Although we were separated by miles we were connected by heart and history. We always made sure that we both realized the bond we shared and loved each other every day of our lives. She always referred to me as her sister from another mother! I loved being in the same family. Nancy was my daughter’s Godmother, she helped me to be a good mom to my first born infant and helped me deliver puppies when my female dog was pregnant. She was always there for me no matter what! I will miss her presence in my life! I love all of the family and will keep you in my prayers!

I am speechless. I was neighbors with Nancy and her family for over 20 years, on Parklane in Somers. Our kids played together, our families were good friends. I could write a book of memories. My heart goes out to all of you; Ronnie, Joey, Shane,Tara, Veronique and Bevin. She was a wonderful person, I am so sorry.

Jim and I are heartbroken at the passing of my dear friend Nancy. For about 39 years we chatted every morning, went food shopping together every Monday morning and shared our discount coupons for purchases. Nancy always said “that way” and it is always on my mind. We laughed together, we cried together and we ate lunch together often. We even took a one day travel agent trip to Jamaica (the island, not Queens) I am thankful for our friendship and watching her 5 kids grow up, as she watched our daughter from birth to marriage to our grandson. Beau was the love of her life and she had the patience of a saint. We even got our grandsons together for a visit. Nancy will always be in my heart and on my mind.
