Vivian was a member of the first graduating class of Somers High School in 1946, She was a proud player on the girls’ basketball team and remained an avid bowler throughout her life (178 average). She worked for many years at Consolidated Midland in Katonah. Vivian’s pride and joy was being matriarch and loving Mama to her extensive family. She was the bright, warm light at the center of us all. She helped raise her 14 grandchildren with a firm reminder to “don’t be fresh!” Vivian enjoyed hosting holidays at her home, where it was filled with love, laughter and plenty of onion dip.

Her family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the love and care she was given by Jeannine Chrysogelos. In addition, our deepest gratitude for the entire staff of the Westminster wing at The Paramount at Somers for their devotion to “their Vivvy!”

There was a private family service and interment at Ivandell Cemetery in Somers. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
