Obituary of George J. Graham
George J. Graham, 88, a resident of Somers for 58 years, died at his home in Heritage Hills, Somers NY, on July 9th, 2025. George was born on April 8th, 1937 in Mount Kisco, NY to parents George Stanley Graham and Irene Josephine Tierney.
After graduating high school George joined the Army, where he served for 6 years, before returning and becoming a carpenter for Westchester Acoustics, Mt. Vernon, NY, and the Carpenters Local 1134, Mount Kisco, NY.
In his free time, George enjoyed fishing, photography, gardening, and golfing. He also coached his sons in youth sports and he loved watching his grandkids’ sporting events.
George is predeceased by his wife, Susan C. Graham, and he is survived by his children: Kim Wottle (Ogdensburg, NJ), George Graham (Somers, NY), and Daniel Graham (Peekskill, NY); and his grandchildren: Kaitlyn Mazzo, John Walsh, Bryan Walsh, and Jake Graham.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday July 25th, 2025 at 11:30 am St. Joseph's RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers, NY 10589.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Route 202, Somers, NY 10589.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Veteran Affairs Charity of your choosing in George’s name.
