Eileen R. Matschke

January 5, 1955 - July 14, 2025

Eileen R. Matschke, of Somers, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the age of 70.

Born in Hollis, Queens, Eileen was the daughter of the late Hugh J. Maguire and Ann Rudolf. She attended Dominican Commercial High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University. Eileen built a successful career, beginning as an Executive Assistant at Panasonic, and later serving for 25 years as Vice President of Institutional Compliance at Goldman Sachs.

Eileen was a devoted wife to her husband, Albert, whom she met at age 16 and married in February 1978 at 23. The couple lived and worked together in New York City for many years before moving to Westchester County in November 1982. In July 2002, they joyfully adopted their daughter, Kiley.

Eileen treasured reading, gardening, baking, decorating, and crafting. Her creativity and artistry shone through in everything she did. She cherished nature—especially birds and flowers—and her home remains filled with cherished statues that reflect this passion. A loving mother, Eileen was actively involved in the local Somers school district as a dedicated “Class Mom” and frequent volunteer.

Eileen’s greatest fulfillment came from time spent with family. She was predeceased by her two older sisters, Jean and Ann Marie Maguire from Queens, NY. She is survived by her beloved husband Albert; her daughter Kiley; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah, NY on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. A burial service will follow the next morning on Friday, July 18 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
