Obituary of Melinda Fiegoli

Melinda Ann Fiegoli, aged 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Redding, CT on August 7, 2025. She was born on December 9, 1941 in Mt. Vernon, NY to Inez and Anthony Bove.

Melinda was married on April 29, 1967 to her beloved husband Nicholas. Together they shared 58 years of marriage and raised four children together; Michele Ann (Ward), Nicholas Anthony (Julie), Jeannine Inez (Peter), and Colette Elena (Frank). She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Thomas David, Celeste Inez, William Nicholas, Michael Daniel, Andrew LeBlanc, Sophia Joan, Evan Peter, Connor Nicholas, Salem Melinda, Matthew Frank, and Christopher Nicholas.

Melinda devoted her life to raising her children and to her grandchildren. She found such joy in antiquing and decorating her beautiful homes in Somers and North Salem. Holidays were her favorite times when she would bring out her family recipes and have kids and grandkids over to cook and bake. Melinda loved to travel and she and Nick had many happy trips to Europe. She met lifelong friends at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, where she was a docent for many years. Sharing her knowledge of art and history was a passion of Melinda’s.

Melinda is survived by her husband Nicholas and her sisters Clotilde Farrell and Nannette Merritt. She was preceded in death by her sister Inez Hartz.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 202, Somers, NY.
