Obituary of James Shedlin

Jamie Shedlin of Somers, NY died on Tuesday August 12, 2025 at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Hospital in New York City.

Jamie was born on October 5, 1958 in New York City to Bronia Reyman (nee Gerstl) and the late Norman Shedlin and moved to New Rochelle, NY as an infant. His stepfather, the late Gerald Reyman, was a very important person in his life.

Jamie graduated from Mercy College and received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He took pride in being part of the Reyman Jewelry family for a big part of his life and most recently worked in sales for Upstate Glass Tempering.

Jamie is the beloved husband of Kim (nee Boyce), the loving brother of Randy Shedlin, Dr. Lynn Reyman, Andrea Reyman-Cruz and Mark Reyman. He is the devoted uncle to Rebecca Hiner, Sarah Campeas, Michael Hiner, Daniel Campeas, Aaron Campeas, Sarah Reyman and Phillip Reyman.

Jamie was a member of the Mahopac Golf and Beach Club where he spent many happy days playing golf (any time he could!) and where he had many friends. Jamie also had a passion for cooking, and loved dining out. He loved the NY Rangers, NY Mets, NY Jets and San Francisco 49ers!

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th at 1PM at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
