Obituary of Richard C. Bottali

Richard C. Bottali, "Rich" 85, of Somers, NY formerly of Yonkers, passed away Monday, November 17th, 2025, at Regional Hospice of Danbury.  

       Rich was born on April 16th, 1940 in Yonkers, N.Y. to the late Peter and Marie Bottali. As a teenager he moved to Lake Purdys, where during high school he met the love of his life, Sandra Valdata.  Rich and Sandra were married nearly 60 years prior to Sandra’s passing in 2020.

       Rich was the beloved husband of the late Sandra, and was the loving father of Richard Bottali, Jr. (married to Barbara Ann Bottali) of Carmel, NY, and Dana Roidl (married to Thomas Roidl) of Dover Plains, NY.  He was the devoted grandfather of Zoe and Tatum Roidl.

       Rich was the proprietor of D.W. Clement in Mt. Kisco for many years. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

       Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd., Katonah, NY on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetary, located at 10 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532.
