Obituary of Helen Maroulis

Helen Maroulis, 90 of Somers, NY  passed away peacefully at her home on January 3, 2026.

Born on December 14, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York, our beloved Helen was raised by her loving parents, Athanasios and Paraskevi (née Ferentinos), who instilled in her the values of family, hard work, and perseverance. She grew up alongside her three siblings, Anna, Mary, and James, who predeceased her. Together, they formed close bonds that remained an important part of her life. As children, the siblings worked side by side at the small general store owned by their parents in Brooklyn Heights during the 1940s.

Helen spent many years working at Pfizer in Manhattan as a Benefits Manager, where she was known for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. Her 30-year career was a source of great pride, and she approached her work with commitment and integrity.

Above all, Helen was a devoted friend and family member whose presence was steady, caring, and generous. She cherished her treasured best friend of nearly six decades, Nancy, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A lifelong New Yorker, Helen will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Her family will gather on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY from 9am to 10 am.

The Funeral will follow at the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Savior 2195 Westchester Avenue East, Rye, N Y.

Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY
