"The memory Grace and I always laughed about was when we worked on the holiday luncheon together. We were to make chicken salad. There were many ways to make it and Grace and I discussed which method to use. One method was to “boil” the chicken. Grace and I were horrified: boil? The chicken? Needless to say we picked another method. But whenever we’d see each other we’d ask “Have you boiled any chickens lately.” Grace, with her sense of humor and infectious laugh, made her a favorite. My best memory was being at a 9th district luncheon with a Hopp ground table and realizing I had forgotten to wear earrings with my nice outfit. Grace took hers off and handed them to me so I could look fully put together getting my 20 year certificate!! Such a sweetie,
