Obituary of Norman Fulton
Norman H. Fulton, a resident of Somers, N.Y. since 1974, went home to his Lord on Sunday, January 18th, 2026.
Norman was born on April 13th, 1941 in Tarrytown, N.Y. He grew up in Stanfordville and Pine Plains N.Y. He proudly served in the Coast Guard.
He leaves behind his wife and beloved companion of 62 years, Leslie, two children Elizabeth (Andrew), Gregory (Diana), 6 grandchildren, Daniel (Annie), Michael, Caitlyn (Billy), Gabriella, William, Luke and 3 great-grandchildren.
We are so proud of all his accomplishments. Norman earned his master's degree from New York Theological Seminary. He worked for IBM for 25 years and started his own business, Inspired Events, that served non-profit organizations. He set up the Community Outreach Center in Peekskill and the Bryant Center in Ossining. Norman was dedicated to his community and was passionate about the wellbeing and education of children. Through the Bryant Center he had a ministry to incarcerated youth at the Westchester County Juvenile Detention Center. He was member of the Big Brother Big Sister Program, coached in the Somers Dad's Club and helped bring AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) to Somers. Norman became an ordained Deacon in the Episcopal Church in 1993 and faithfully served the church and God through his ministry. He is a published author of two books, Yo God What the Hell and Gaps and Bridges. Norman also served as a chaplain for the recovery teams at Ground Zero after 9/11.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church 331 NY-100, Somers, NY 10589 on Saturday January 24th, 2026 at 2pm.
