Obituary of Anthony J Chiaverini

Anthony Joseph Chiaverini, 90, resident of Somers, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026 while surrounded by love.

Anthony was born on November 27, 1935 to Joseph and Frances Chiaverini in Yonkers, NY. He later served in the U.S. Navy and was Honorably discharged in 1956. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Ellen Anne Chiaverini of Somers, NY. Anthony’s love and devotion to his wife was deep, unwavering and selfless.

He is also survived by his brother Alfred Chiaverini of Port St.Lucie, Florida along with nieces and cousins.

Anthony did everything to the fullest. He thrived in his career in finance and once retired, enjoyed playing golf , bowling ( a 300 game no less) and his artwork. Ellen and Anthony's home was filled with his breathtaking paintings and images captured from their travels together.

Friends and family may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd. Katonah, NY 10536 Wednesday March 4th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph RC Church 11:30 AM, 95 Plum Brook Rd. Somers, NY 10589 Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Internment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 202, Somers, NY 10589
