Obituary of Anne M. Moran
Anne Bruder Moran, 60, passed away suddenly on April 18, 2026. She was born on February 21, 1966, and grew up in Katonah, New York—a place she always held close to her heart. She later made her home in Brewster, New York.
Anne was a lifelong learner, earning her Master’s degree in Special Education from the College of New Rochelle, which laid the foundation for her dedicated career as an educator. She devoted her professional life to shaping young minds with patience, kindness, and humor. She will be remembered for her deep love of family, her special groups of friends, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.
Anne’s smile was truly infectious, lighting up every room she entered and leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. She had a gift for bringing her stories to life, sharing them with passion, silliness, and heart.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Meghan Moran DeSalvo along with her husband, Joseph DeSalvo, and her son, Colin Moran, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Beth Bruder; Patricia Girolamo and her husband, Robert Girolamo; and Carolyn Dei Dolori and her husband, Gary Dei Dolori, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
Anne was predeceased by her beloved parents, Maryellen Bruder and Edward Bruder.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will continue through all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
We find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her mother and father, whom she missed so deeply.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held to celebrate her life on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Catholic Church, 55 Valley Road, Katonah, New York 10536.
