Obituary of Antoinette Acocella
Antoinette Acocella, 82, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, in Mount Kisco, New York. Born on March 1, 1944, in Taranto, Italy, Antoinette lived a life filled with love, creativity, and devotion to her family.
Antoinette carried with her a deep appreciation for different cultures throughout her life. Her passion for cooking was unparalleled; she delighted in preparing traditional Italian recipes from her homeland while also exploring cuisines from around the world. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and connection, where meals were lovingly crafted and shared with those she held dear.
In addition to her culinary talents, Antoinette had a lifelong love of crafts. Her home was adorned with her creations, including pottery and Native American-inspired pieces that reflected her artistic spirit and attention to detail. These works remain as cherished reminders of her creativity and dedication.
Antoinette is survived by her beloved husband, John; her daughter April; her son John Jr. and his wife Andrea; and her grandson Ian. She is also survived by her brothers Paul (Joanne) and Salvatore Jr. She was predeceased by her parents Maria and Salvatore, as well as by her brother John and son-in-law Timothy.
Antoinette’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May the legacy of her kindness, creativity, and devotion bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St Joseph's Church, 95 Plum Brook Rd Somers, NY.
