Sending my sincerest condolences to the Sweeney and Twomey families. I remember meeting Ed several times as a young girl when he came to visit Ireland with Noreen - Sharon Mitchell (Trudy Hayes nee Pigott's daughter).

Our deepest condolences on your loss. Ed was a great guy. I will never forget when we ran into Ed and Noreen in a jewelry store in Grand Cayman on the many trips we attended with them for work. He said to us, Women
are like crows. They are attracted to anything shiny. To this day, every time I walk into a jewelry store, I think of that saying and Ed. May you find peace in all of your happy memories of Ed. Ann and Carl Groth

Linda B. Dyekman posted a condolence

Sincere condolences on the death of Ed. He was a really nice man, a supporter of all things Catholic and beyond. Whenever we met at Franciscan Friars of the Atonement Galas and Events, it was apparent that all people meant a great deal to him. His warmth and kind regard for all who met him showed his humility of spirit. Rest gently now Ed, in the hands of the loving Father.
Sincerely,
Linda B. Dyekman, former Major Gift Officer, Friars of the Atonement, Garrison, NY.
