Obituary of Regina Galdi

Regina Galdi was born on May 23rd, 1930, and passed away on Monday June 15th, 2026 at the golden age of 96.

 

She spent her last few years at Brandywine Living in Phoenixville, PA, a beautiful senior living facility where she received the best of care. Formerly, Regina lived in Somers, NY for over 20 years with her husband, Vincent F. Galdi, a decorated Korean War Veteran, who passed on October 11th, 2018 at the age of 90. Prior to that, Regina and Vincent resided on Edson Avenue in Bronx, NY.

 

Both Regina and Vincent were born and raised in the Bronx and graduated from Evander Childs High School. Although they attended the same high school, Regina met Vincent as teenagers while roller skating in Mount Vernon NY. 

 

Regina worked at Exquisite Form as a marketing support admin for over 40 years until her retirement at age 65 and was a longstanding member of the ILGWU.

 

Regina and Vincent were married for 68 years.

 

Regina is survived by her three children, Debbie, Mariann, and Vincent J. and his wife Lisa; five grandchildren, Lauren (Rudy), Jessica (Eric), Vincent A. (Amanda), Christopher (Shannon) and Mark; and four great-grandchildren, Addison, Adriana and Vincent J., and Harriet.

 

Friends and Family may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 3 to 7 PM.

 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY. Entombment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 101 Mill Street, Putnam Valley, NY.
