Obituary of Mary Jones

Mary Jones, a beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on November 12, 1961, in Mount Kisco, NY. She grew up in Bedford Hills, NY and was living in Golden's Bridge at the time of her death.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Brusic, and the granddaughter of the late Joseph and Anna Kirincich. She grew up in a loving family with her sister, Margaret Brusic, and her brothers, Richard and Joseph Brusic, who survive her today.

Mary found true companionship and love when she married Gerald "Jerry " Jones on March 20, 2011. Together, they built a life filled with shared laughter and mutual respect, alongside their adored feline companions, Max and Ruby.

For over 25 years, Mary worked as a pharmacy clerk at Weinstein Pharmacy in Katonah, where her dedication and kindness endeared her to colleagues and customers alike. Her work was more than just a job; it was an extension of her nurturing nature, always eager to help and provide a listening ear.

Mary's passions extended beyond her professional life. She was an exceptional baker, renowned for her oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookies. Watching cooking programs inspired Mary to explore new recipes, which she would often prepare for her family. Those who knew Mary will fondly remember her good sense of humor and her kindness. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her husband, Jerry, her siblings, Margaret, Richard, and Joseph, and all who were privileged to call her a friend.

The family will receive friends on July 22nd from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 23rd at 10:00 am at Holy Innocents RC Church, 431 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY 10570. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Lexington Avenue, Mt. Kisco, NY 10549.
