I’d like to start off saying I had the PLEASURE of working at Sureair Ltd ‘80-‘84 in NYC and Tuckahoe NY. What a great place to work! Artie was a generous man along with his dad Mr B. To the family I’d like to share a story I still tell people to this day. While working in NYC I met my future wife at the company. I went to his office seeking approval to date Denise. He laughed so hard saying “you’re asking me? I married Daisy!” A few weeks later on a Thursday I wanted to go out to happy hour at one of the local bars but being the day before payday I was trying to hit up fellow employees for a loan until the next day. The problem was I had a history of going out and calling in sick the next day. So I’m in the kitchen asking and everything went quiet. Standing behind me was Art. He asked me why I needed the money and I gave him my story of wanting to take Denise out for happy hour. In a blink of an eye I’m holding a $50 bill. I thanked him and went on my way. Well about 5:45 Artie walks into the bar and orders a round and said he wanted to see where his money was going. Ok I figured have a drink it can’t hurt. WELL happy hour was done he paid my tab and said “I drank in your bar now it’s time to drink in mine. He drove us to a piano bar on the east side by the UN where we drank and sang songs to about midnight. All on him. He drove Denise to the train station and left me saying Mike I’ll see you at 9. It was one of the best nights ever! BTW I was 21 yrs old. My love to his family. He was and still is a great man

Devastated to just learn of Arty's passing in August. Arty was one of the finest people I have had the pleasure of knowing - professional, honest, generous, hilariously funny, kind, devilish at times, could party like a pro. Just the thought that he is no longer here is so sad. I hope he is lying beside Sandra. My heart goes out to his family.

Artie was an '"Outstanding" man. Artie was the light of our lives. Artie would look out the windows at his amazing views of the mountains and he would say " I wouldn't want to be anywhere else" and of course he would also say "Outstanding". Our hearts are broken for the loss of Artie. He had a smile that said it all when he would look at you. All we know is that we will miss you dearly. Now your in heaven with beautiful Sandy. Rest in Peace Artie we love you! Christa and Stacey
