Obituary of Bernard Michael Vetrone

Vetrone, Bernard Michael, 89, of Carmel, NY formerly of Somers and Yonkers died on January 22nd. He was a 40 year employee of the US Postal Service in The Bronx. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and he had Blue Blood running through his veins. Bernard is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Norma (nee Turchioe) Vetrone; and he is the beloved father of Joseph (Donna) Vetrone of Danbury, CT and Judy (John) DiMiceli of Amawalk, NY. He is the devoted grandfather of Marissa (Will) Rose, Paul DiMiceli, Michael (Francesca) Vetrone and Peter DiMiceli and great grandfather of William and Hannah Rose. He is the loving brother of Maryann Sivillo and is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends. His family will receive friends on Friday, January 24th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25th at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, NY. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Church in his name.
