After retirement, he worked with Related Properties Corporation at Greenwich, Connecticut, and Boehringer Ingelheim in Ridgefield, Connecticut. He is lauded by friends as the “Best Friend” in the whole world. Joseph found joy in dedicating his time and effort to his wife, Nancy, and his beloved sons, Joseph and Anthony. He enjoyed staying home doing all sorts of tasks and projects, building, and renovating. He loved cooking Italian Foods, fishing, sailing, and gardening. In his quiet moments, he would sit by his garden facing the lake, watched the swans and the birds, finding comfort and tranquility in South Salem at the beloved home he built on Lake Truesdale. Joseph also loved spending his time reading, praying, watching the Yankees and his favorite TV series, Science and History Channels, and writing his “Memoirs.” He is dearly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation to “Operation Smile, Inc.” or the “Little Sisters of the Poor” would be appreciated.
