Obituary of Frances M. Morey

On April 21, 2020 Frances M. Morey, a resident of Somers, N.Y. passed away at the age of 93. Frances was born on December 12, 1926 to the late William and Mary Stalter. Frances was Married to her loving husband, Orin J. Morey for 48 years until his death in 1994. She was also predeceased by a son Alfred W. Morey USMC, in 2002. She worked at Somers Manor Nursing Home for 35 years providing physical therapy, and was a resident of Lake Purdys for 56 years. Frances and her husband were members of the LPPOA for many of those years. Nothing was more important to Frances than the love of her family. She is survived by her children Jean Schraff (Robert), Louis O. Morey, and Florence Santavy (Joseph). She is grandmother of nine( Kimberly, Jacqueline, Kristine, Andrew, Heather, Louis, Nicole, Teak, and Jamie) and great-grandmother of 20. Due to current quarantine rules, there will be no wake. Burial will be on April 25th at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Somers N.Y. To be attended by immediate family only. Memorial contributions can be made to NWH Foundation, NWH, 400 East Main Street, Mt.
