Many, many people have said “Larry Connor is one of a kind” and they were absolutely right, Uncle Larry was unique. Now that he has sadly gone he has left a hole that cannot be filled. But we have him in our memories. Those memories of his strong character, his sharp sense of humour, his fierce love for his family, his generosity and compassion. Uncle Larry was also the most hospitable man that you could ever meet. Indeed I remember (part of) the day the Pope was in New York. Bren and I visited Uncle Larry and Auntie Kay and he barbequed steaks. It was a day of fun and laughter and that’s how we will remember him.
RIP.
Bren and Frank Renouf. UK.

I have so many wonderful memories of my grandpa, but I am so happy I got to spend everyday with him while he was at rehab. I got to visit him everyday and bring him the newspaper and his favorite treats sent in by my family. It was also nice to just sit and visit with him while he couldn’t be at home. Grandpa was loved by so many and I can’t believe he is gone. I will miss him terribly but I know that he is watching over us all!
