Obituary of Robert William Forman
Forman, Robert W., “Bob” 78, of Katonah, NY, died suddenly on Thursday October 1, 2020.
Bob was born on May 13, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY to the late George and Sylvia Forman. He grew up in White Plains, NY and graduated from White Plains H.S. (’61.) He received his Bachelors and Masters of Arts degrees from Pace College.
Bob was a history teacher in New Rochelle from 1968 until his retirement in 2005.
Bob is the beloved husband of Linda (Nee Rodman) and the devoted father of Joshua Steven of Palm Beach, FL, and Michael William (Cassandra Lagod) of Apex, NC. He is the devoted grandpa “Buddy” of Tate Maverick and Sloane Wynter Lagod Forman. Bob is the brother-in-law of Joan L. Rodman of St. Petersburg FL., and Melanie K. Forman of Longwood FL. He is survived by his nephews, Andy and David Kahan and David Forman and niece, Rachel Forman.
He was predeceased by his sister, Maxine Linda Kahan, and his brother, Harold Forman.
His quick wit, intelligence, love for sports, and passion for politics, both past and present, will be greatly missed by his family and many friends and colleagues.
A Private interment will be held with no visitation or Shiva due to COVID-19.
