A few memories: When I was learning to play tennis years ago in the Shores, Valerie graciously helped me practice and improve. She added her wit, humor and playing skill to our Canasta games, too. Valerie shared her insights at our Book Club Meetings at Cathie's house. Most times, she was the sole contributor to our book discussions (because no one else had read the book).
She loved her grandchildren. I appreciate that they helped their grandmother with her new phone and her zoom sessions. It helped us stay in touch.
