Obituary of Sarah Bradley

Sarah Bradley of Heritage Hills, formerly of Riverdale, went home to God on Sunday February 7th.

Sally is the beloved wife of Thomas, to whom she was married for 62 years.  She is the devoted mother of Mary Terese Campbell (Bill), Eileen Kyriacou (Charles), William (Paula) and Janine Carlson (Scott) and  loving grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Bradley, Brian, Paul (deceased), Janine, Nicholas, Kelly, Heather, William, Mary, Christina, Nicholas, and Christopher.

Born on September 25, 1936 in Washington Heights, NY to the late John and Mary Murphy.  She was the second of six children. She is survived by two sisters, Marion Crimmins and Mary White, and a brother, John Murphy.  She is predeceased by her bother Patrick Murphy and sister Georgianne Nicoletti.

Sally was known for her devotion to family and for usually being the one “in charge”.  Her tireless efforts to plan and arrange family events forged close ties within the Murphy and Bradley families and many, many fond memories. She will be dearly missed.

Her family will honor her life at a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Church, Somers on Monday February 15th.  Interment at Gate of Heaven will be at a later date.
