Dear Richard,
I am so sorry that Kryssy had to leave all of us. She was such a loving and caring person. Several times she would take me with her to hear you play. She always had a big smile on her face and it was such a fun time.
Kryssy would always call when there was an outage and invite me to stay in your home because you had a generator. And if I was away pet sitting and there was bad weather, Kryssy would always call to let me know that my house was intact and no trees had fallen on it. When she would see me working in the yard she would stop and chat for a while. No matter how ill she felt, she always had time to stop and chat. Always remembered my birthday and even gave me a gift when I retired.
We both shared in feeding the ferals and when I was away from home I knew I could depend on Kryssy to make sure KitKat got fed as well as all the others. He was one of our special ferals. She took care of all the critters.
With love and sympathy,
Toni-Lee Frankolino
You have so many special memories of Kryssy to help you through your sorrow. I hope they can put a smile on your face. I will miss Mrs. Eg from the block, her smile, her caring and her kindness.

Dear Richard,
I was so sorry to hear about Krissy. She was so much a part of my 50 years at the Greenwich Library. I remember going with her several times to hear you play at that place on Edgewood, if memory serves me right. I loved her as did everyone who came in contact with her. She lit up our lives. I understand how difficult it must be for you now and my heart goes out to you.

I worked with Kryssy in the 1970s in the Greenwich Library. She was such a light for me and always so happy and loving. We've kept in touch all these years and I loved talking with her when one of us would surprise the other with a phone call. Oh, how I will miss her voice and her kindness and her soul.
Rest in peace, dear one. My condolences to Richard and her family.

My Aunty Bastyna (my sister and I couldn’t pronounce Krystyna) will be greatly missed. Her contagious smiles and lively anecdotes made each family gathering a special and happy time. I’ll miss her warm hugs and how she went above and beyond for her family no matter what, whether it was making sure everyone had a dessert they liked at Thanksgiving or remembering special treats for our dogs at Christmas. I love you Aunty Bastyna, life won’t be the same without you.

Aunt Krys was the happiest person I have ever met. She never failed to light up the room! Her love for Uncle Richard, her cats, and the neighborhood raccoons was immediately recognized by anyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed ❤️

I met Kryssy in 1969 when I myself first started working at the Greenwich Library where she had been working even before that as a page. As others have said, we were all touched by her incredible way of uplifting all those around her. It all started with her smile. And usually led to a joke, some chatting, and ended with another smile. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who had anything other than nice things to say about her. It came as a shock to learn of her passing and she will truly be missed.

Kryssy is probably the most positive, upbeat life affirming person I've ever met. I remember her putting on a raccoon and skunk feeding show on her porch. Her love for animals is beyond description or explanation. I guess her heart was just that big. Life could not have been easy for her and her mother coming to the US after the war but she was 100% positive, 100% percent of the time. There should be more people like her in the world.

I am so very sorry to hear of Kryssy's passing. She was such a shining light in a world that could be dark at times. I was a colleague and I enjoyed 40+ years of her friendship with her, and thousands of laughs. She will be greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts. Prayers to Richard and family during this difficult time.
