Joe was a wonderful person. I always enjoyed talking with him after church in fellowship hall during coffee hours and 2nd Sunday Soup. He was kind, uplifting and humble. He showed an interest in our family and he told great stories about his trips to Canada, his work as a policeman and his kitten/cat that he got a few years ago. I am grateful to have known Joe and carry his example of a fine person in my heart. God be with Jean and family during this difficult time. Be assured that Joe is in a better place with our maker and will be forever remembered for all the good he brought all of us. Love you Joe, Dave Breidenbach.

I am heartbroken about the passing of Joe. Joe was "one of a kind". He treated me like I was his daughter. We shared a kindred spirit for each other. I was talking to my parents and we all agreed that they don't make men like him anymore. Joe had integrity and a great sense of humor, which I can totally relate too. We shared holidays, vacations and visits together. Joe will always have a special place in my heart. Love, Susan Palmer
