Obituary of Anthony J. Mastellone, MD

Anthony J. Mastellone, MD of Somers, NY, formerly of Brooklyn and Oyster Bay, New York died Monday, June 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center in Roslyn, NY.

Anthony was born on October 19, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Salvatore and Philomena Mastellone.

He was proud graduate of Brooklyn Preparatory High School (1962), Le Moyne College (1966) and the University of Bologna School of Medicine (1971).

Anthony joined the staff of the Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn & Queens and later became a partner in a private medical practice at Howard Beach Medical Associates until his retirement.

He was an avid fan of the New York Mets, the New York Jets and the New York Islanders.

He is the beloved husband of Camille (nee Tringali) and is the loving father of Dina (Philippe) of Franklin Park, NJ, Kenneth of Somers, NY and Andrea (Robert) of East Northport, NY. He is the devoted and loving grandfather of Antonio Edward and Alexander Dominic Mastellone, and is survived by his niece and nephew, Lisa Tringali Garlick and Thomas Tringali and their family.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, June 29th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 30th at 10:00 am at St.Joseph's RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY

Interment will follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY

He will be greatly missed but never forgotten by his family, friends, co-workers, patients and those whose hearts he has touched over the years.
