Obituary of Joel B Danziger

Joel Danziger, 90, died at his home in Bedford, NY, on Monday, September 18^th, 2023.

Joel was born on October 17^th, 1932 in the Bronx to the late Mildred Collier Danziger and Harry Danziger.  Joel earned his B.A. in History from Columbia College in 1953 and graduated from Yale Law School in 1956.  He was the founding partner of the White Plains law firm Danziger & Markhoff.

Joel was entirely devoted to his family.  His beloved survivors include his wife of sixty-five years, Joan Kaufman Danziger; his three children and their spouses, Robert Danziger (Susie) of Bedford, NY, Marc Danziger (Joan) of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, and Sarah Danziger Valentino (Chris) of Pleasantville, NY; and his grandchildren, Hannah Danziger, Leah Danziger, Samantha Danziger, Jed Danziger, Augustus Valentino, and Matilda Valentino.  

The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 21 at 10:00am at Temple Beth El, 220 South Bedford Road, Chappaqua, NY

Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 80 Commerce Street, Hawthorne, NY
