I am so sorry to hear this. Marsha grew up in the most wonderful building in the Bronx with 30 families which most of them which were like family to each other. I lived in 2D right below Marsha who lived in 3D. We were like one family with great memories. Fly with the angels Marsha and sit on that famous bench!

Tova Gazala posted a condolence

I am shocked. Didn't know that she was ill. My name is Tova, alias Janet Sporn who lives in Israel. All our childhood we were best friends, living on the same floor in the projects of Pelham parkway. So soft and ladylike and fun to be with, like her great Mom Gloria. But not a pushover, and understood humorous situations from her extremely funny Dad Willie.
We met up again together with Bobby in Israel on their last trip. We connected as if 50 years hadn't passed
Was so impressed about her active participation , and the way that she dealt with what life threw at her with a positive and innovative approach. Will miss her and sorry that I wasn't able to reach out
