My deepest condolences to the family of Ross Weale. I met Ross while working for Tompkins (Mahopac) marketing department from 2008-10. I remember him as extremely enthusiastic and supportive, with a wonderful personality. I often thought about Ross over the years. God bless.

I had the good fortune of meeting Ross 40 years ago when I was a Management trainee at the Bank of NY and he was the Regional President. We always had a great working relationship as we stayed in close contact throughout our careers in Banking. I had great respect for him as a person, a leader, a competitor, and as a consultant to us at Tompkins later in our careers.
We shared many great memories together on Business trips, on the golf course, and planning business strategies. He will be missed by many in the Community and in the Banking Industry.

Hopefully, Ann and Ross are up there sharing a good laugh, and a cocktail or two, reminiscing about our 60 years of friendship, flamingos, and travels that have taken us from when we met in the management program at the Bank of New York, to Alpine, NJ, Chappaqua, NY, to Pleasant Lake New Hampshire, Madison, CT, the boulevards of Paris, the cafes of Han Fleur, to the beaches at Normandy and the coast of Brittany, the Swiss Alps, the islands of the Caribbean, weddings in La Quinta, Hawaii, and Basin Harbor, skiing in Park City, cocktail cruises on Wacabuck yelling at speed-boaters, to Snowmass where Ross commandeered a snowcat and much, much more!
Truly a BFF if ever there was one. The stories and memories will live forever.
Love to Carol, Sara, Ross Jr. and families.

Ross was a great mentor to me during my career in the Bank of New York in the 1980's. I was always happy to see him whenever I visited Mahopac National Bank events, and he remained one of my biggest boosters. I will always remember Ross as a true gentleman, and a generous friend.

I am deeply saddened by Ross's passing. It was an honor to have worked alongside him at Country Bank, where he imparted much wisdom and guidance to me as a young banker, which I have carried throughout my career. Our friendship endured to the very end. Rest in peace, Ross. You will be missed.

Dear Carol
So sorry to hear about Ross. He was my roommate for junior year at T-P and a close prep school friend. I would occasionally see him at school events but never as close as we were at school. My memories are as sharp as what seems like yesterday. He was a good friend during our years together- I’ll never forget him! Michael A. Kovner

All the Johnsons send their love to all the Weales. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have posted pictures from a couple of the many, many good times together on ski slopes in Cazenovia and Snow Ridge, not to mention the fly-house at Greek Peak! Happy memories, along with lazy days sailing on Skaneateles Lake. And Chester, our lab, brought forth the comment from Ross, "I want one of those"! And indeed he did! And one more, and one more, and .........now you are surrounded by all that puppy love, and our love, too.

I am extremely saddened to hear of Ross Weale’s passing. I first met Ross in the mid 1970’s when I was the Manager of the Dobbs Ferry office of the Bank of New York (BONY) and Ross transferred from BONY Manhattan to BONY Westchester. We were friends for over 50 years. Ross was the founding President of The Country Bank in Putnam County in the mid 1980’s: he was very supportive of me when I helped establish a new bank in Sullivan County in the early 1990’s. Rest in Peace Ross. Sincerely George Dunkel
