Obituary of Miriam Fredricksen

     Miriam Fredricksen (nee Christian) died on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at home. She was born on November 9, 1922, in Prosser, Washington. She grew up on the family dairy farm with her parents and five siblings.

     She loved music and majored in music at Wheaton College in Illinois. She was the college soloist.

Miriam met the love of her life in college, Arnold Fredricksen. They were married in August 1945. Arnold became a Presbyterian pastor and Miriam led the music ministry in the various churches in which they served.

God blessed them with two daughters, Esther and Elisabeth. Miriam is survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Miriam served her Lord Jesus all her life and blessed her family and friends with her love and joy of living.
