Sue always had sunshine in her disposition. She was warm, welcoming and a wonderful friend who never forgot a birthday. I will always think of her delicious ‘morning glories’ as the metaphor for who she was. As she would have put it, she left footprints on my heart and I will forever be grateful for having known her.

Susan was always so positive and lit up the day with her smile! We loved seeing her while we would walk up and down Todd Rd. We will miss seeing that smile.

To get to know Sue O’Connor, as I was lucky enough to do during my many years working at the Katonah Thrift Shop, was to adore her! No exaggeration, she was such a caring , beautiful soul! Yes, the room lit up when she appeared with her sense of humor , great stories, and her perpetual warmth! What a treasure to her wonderful family and her many, very fortunate friends. She will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to her sons and my friends, Pat and Jeff O’Connor. Kathryn Phelps Summers

Aunt Susan so thankful for the times we shared visiting, sitting on your porch having tea and blueberry muffins or whatever you baked that day, chatting, laughing talking about all your life experiences and love of family. We will miss you dearly. You will always hold a special memory in our hearts. You were the kindest and strongest women I know. We will never forget that picture of you with the motorcycle if you could have I know you would have loved to zoom off !!! May you rest in peace we will miss you dearly. Our thought's and prayers to all the family. Love Carmela and Terry

In the few months that I worked as Susan care giver I have learned so much from her. She had a vibrant and positive energy, she never complains, her smiles could light up a room, her loving, caring attitude and her great sense of humor. Her two sons Patrick and Jeff was her pride and joy , I am so glad I cross paths with her and I will always cherish the memories I shared with her. Rest well my beautiful Susan

Susan O'Connor was such a bright presence in every room she entered. She had an incredible sense of humor and always knew how to lighten the mood, no matter the situation. I remember so many moments where her quick wit would make us both laugh, and those times are memories I will always hold dear. Beyond her humor, she had this unshakable positivity and resilience, always looking for the silver lining, even when life threw challenges her way. She also spoke often about her two sons, sharing stories of their achievements and adventures with pride and joy. You could see how much love she had for them in every word she said. Susan's warmth and strength left an impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her, and I feel grateful to have been part of her journey.
With Love,
Estrie Mcnalley

Terri Riina, neighbor
Susan always a carried a smile and a passion for talking. I loved seeing her walking on Todd Road, always ready to stop and chat.
One day she sat in our screened in porch and kept my husband, Tony, company while he peeled hundreds of peaches from our trees!
Will miss her sweetness! The world needs more Susan O'Connors!
Fondly,
Terri Riina

My mother and Sue were childhood friends and remained close. She would call my Mom every day just to check in on her well being and they would also chat about the past and the present, always fond memories. She was dear to me and she called me her name sake because I was named after her when I was born. I was honored to be named after her and associated with such an angel. She always remembered my Birthday and I always got a meaningful card and an enclosed prayer card from her each year. She will surely be missed and I will always have fond memories of her. May she rest in peace and cast her smile on us from up above.

Susan was one of the first people we met after moving to Katonah. I would walk along Todd Road with my three year old daughter and newborn son in their carriage and run into Susan often. She loved children and was a friend to all. I enjoyed our brief but frequent talks as we both walked along our beautiful roads. Susan had a smile that would light up her entire face and was one of the kindest people I had the good fortune of meeting. Our condolences go out to the entire family on her passing. She will forever watch over her family from God’s loving arms. Rest in Peace Susan. The Mangiones.
