You were not only my kind, sweet, beautiful and loving Mom, but I am blessed that you were also my greatest friend.
I will miss you always, but am comforted to know you are in God’s heavenly kingdom and are with Dad. I will love you forever.

I loved Marion so very much and will keep her in my heart always (getting teared up writing this.) We attended church at LCR with Marion (and her loving husband Dave) for over 20 years. Marion would always tell you exactly what she thought...so straightforward and direct, I always appreciated that about her. (Maybe it's a German thing?) Marion always reminded me of my aunts (Pennsylvania Dutch folks)...so I always felt a special closeness to her, like she was "one of my people." She was thoughtful & genuine, always asking about my kids when she didn't see them at worship. She always seemed to me to be thoroughly calm, comfortable and confident within herself...that's something I strive for but it can be difficult to get there. With Marion, these qualities seemed to flow naturally. The joke in our house was that Marion's Xmas card was always the FIRST ONE we'd receive every year. I will think of her, now especially, as each Christmas season approaches. Sending love, peace and comfort to Marion's family & friends. Having Marion in my life as a role model has made me a better person...I'll never forget her.
