Obituary of Alice T. Amato

Alice T. Amato was 98 when she passed on December 7^th, 2024.

Alice was born on October 18^th, 1926 in Mount Kisco, NY and spent the rest of her life in Somers, NY.

Alice married her love, Michael P. Amato, on August 26^th, 1956, and they were together for 61 years until he passed in 2017.

Alice is survived by her son, Michael J. Amato (Christina) of Somers, NY; daughters Donna Tambini (Larry) of Holmes, NY and Debbie Radi (Rich) of Somers, NY; grandchildren Michelle and Richie Radi, Melissa and Marisa Tambini, and Sarah Amato. Alice is also survived by her sister, Catherine of Stormville, NY.

Alice loved planting her flowers and sitting in her favorite rocking chair, eating chocolate. As she would always say, chocolate keeps her going.

Alice’s family was everything to her, and she loved being together for the holidays. She was a Mom and Grandma to everyone.

Friends and family may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 11^th, 2024, between 4 and 8 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 12^th, 2024, at 10 am at St. Joseph's RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY 10589. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Route 202, Somers, NY 10589.
