Obituary: Herbert Offner admin Ofner, Herbert Irwin, 84, of Somers, NY, died on Saturday, February 3, 2018 surrounded by his family. Herbert was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. Herbert married Diane Benatar in November 1959 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the loving father of Renee Ofner (Dan Jentilucci), Leslie Ofner and Douglas Ofner (Carla); and the cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren. Herb was an avid golfer, having several Green Jackets to his credit. He loved sailing on the Long Island Sound and spending time with his family. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 5th at 12 Noon at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY 10536. The family will be sitting shiva at 340 Essex Fells Court, Yorktown Heights, NY on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
