Obituary of Rega Francesca Zuckerman

The family of Rega Francesca Zuckerman, 70, of Heritage Hills, Somers, NY sadly notes her peaceful passing on January 3^rd after a short illness.

Rega was the beloved longtime partner of Ken Benjamin, a loving mother of Jared Zuckerman of Greenwich, CT; Brett Zuckerman of Weston, CT; and Todd Zuckerman of Brooklyn, NY; and an adoring grandmother to Emma, Annabell, Lucus, Jesse, and Mason. Rega also treasured her three daughters-in-laws Julie, Allie, and Marianne. Rega is also survived by her dear brother, Graham Flashner and his longtime fiancée Madeline Martel of Westwood, California.

Rega worked in the fashion industry, but her favorite time was the creation of her store in Tannersville, New York called “Dressed and Ready” that she established in 2012. The store stocked all items of women’s fashion and jewelry except shoes. She was happiest hunting in New York City at fashion conventions, looking for unique and unusual items to bring back to her upstate store. Many of her customers came from as far as Brooklyn to her store year after year to find just the right article to wear for a special occasion.
