Obituary of Matthew Charles Mancini

Matthew Charles Mancini, died Saturday, March 25, 2017, in his sleep, in his adopted city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Matthew was born on July 27, 1988 in Mt. Kisco, NY. He grew up in Somers, NY and attended SUNY IT, in Utica, NY, where he also began his career in telecommunications, then moving on to Syracuse, NY. He excelled in his field and, after a short time, was offered a position in Philadelphia, PA, where he relocated and quickly became a rising star, and go-to for his company, as a telecom systems engineer. His dedication and service was complimented by his charismatic personality, which gained him the respect of his colleagues, and afforded him many friends. He was a gentle, kind and genuinely compassionate person, always looking out for those he held close. His dry wit and unassuming charm often set the people around him at ease. He will be missed by so many, leaving an empty space in the lives of all that he touched. He is survived by his mother Heidi and father Michael Mancini, Sr.; his grandmother Doris McCormick; his grandfather Anthony Mancini; his sister Melissa Mancini and her partner Andrew Frisenda; his brother Michael Mancini, Jr. and his fiancé Caitlin Boers; his sister Meghan Mancini; along with aunts, uncles and dozens of cousins. Forever in hearts, never forgotten, love leaves a memory that nothing can steal… Memorial services will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Clark and Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road Katonah NY, 10536, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
