Obituary of Andrew George Panos

Panos, Andrew George, 92, a longtime resident of Amawalk, NY died on August 28th. He was born in New York City. Andy was a US Navy veteran serving in WWII and was a NYC bus driver and following retirement, he drove bus for the Somers Central School District. Andy was the beloved husband of the late Antoinette and he is survived by his beloved children: Laura Thumen, Peter Panos, Nancy Smith and Donald Panos and the late Andrew Panos, Jr. and Thomas Panos. Devoted grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 3. His family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Sept 1 at 11:15am am at St. Patrick’s Stone Church, Yorktown, 188 Church Place, Yorktown Heights. Interment will follow at Amawalk Hill Cemetery. Panos, Antoinette Teresa, 87, a longtime resident of Amawalk, NY, died on March 22nd. Antoinette was born in New York City. She was a member of the Somers Seniors. Antoinette is survived by her loving husband: Andrew G. Panos; and her beloved children: Laura Thumen, Peter Panos, Nancy Smith and Donald Panos and the late Andrew Panos, Jr and Thomas Panos. Devoted grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 2. Her family will receive friends on Friday, March 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25th at 11:15 am at St. Patrick’s RC Church, Yorktown, 137 Moseman Road, Yorktown Heights. Interment will follow at Amawalk Hill Cemetery.
