Obituary of Maria Teresa Agostino

Agostino, M. Teresa, 89 years old, residing at 12 Otha Drive Katonah, New York, died early Monday morning, Oct.8, 2018, of natural causes.

Teresa was born in a little town called Gioiosa Jonica,in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Teresa, at the age of 25, immigrated to the United States, in 1954, with her husband Nicola, and two sons Rocco and Domenico, and moved to Amawalk,New York, where they continued to raise 3 additional boys, for a total of 5 boys.

Teresa was a hard working, loving mother and wife, where she used all her energy, as a devoted homemaker, for her family.

    Teresa, endured hardship, with the passing of her husband Nicola, 1989, oldest son Rocco, in 2010, and a twin son Robert, in 2016, from there she had a multitude of physical and mental ailments, where she lost her zeal for living.  Family survivors, include her children, Dominic, Katonah,NY,  Anthony, of Parker, Colorado, and Nicola Jr of Ridgefield, Ct. and also Grandchildren, Rocco Jr, Jessica, Rachel, Nicholas, Michael, Daniel, Corey and Cameron also family members in Italy, her brother Nicola, her sister Maria, and several nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, October 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 12th at 11:30 am at St.Joseph's RC Church,95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY 10589

Interment will follow at St.Francis Cemetery, Lexington Avenue, Mount Kisco, NY 10549.
