Obituary of Joseph F Simoncini

Simoncini, Joseph F., “Joe Si”, 88, a longtime resident of Goldens Bridge, NY, died on November 2nd. He was born in West Harrison, NY on May 16, 1930.

Joe was a US Army Tank Corporal serving during the Korean Conflict.

He served for 25 years as a Westchester County Police Officer. Joe was a lifetime member and Captain of the Fire Police for the Goldens Bridge Fire Department. Joe was a longstanding member of NASCAR as well as The DIRT Racing Association.

Joe was pre deceased by his beloved wife, Christine, and he is the loving father of Joe, Jr (Sandy), Christine (John) Klaas, Barbara Johannessen and Leslie (John) Christman and the late Lida. Joe is the devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 7th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's RC Church,95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY 10589

Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 West Hillside Avenue, White Plains, NY.
